Muslims and terrorism

If you came to read just because you saw the title, good job. I hope you didn't expect me to blame the entire Muslim population for all acts of terrorism because I'm not going to.

TERRORISM KNOWS NO RACE, SKIN COLOUR OR RELIGION
Get that straight in your head if you think that terrorism only applies to blacks and Muslims. You're uneducated as heck.
I've grown up with Muslims friend surrounding me. Yes, some of them are rude and terribly annoying, but they are also extremely kindhearted. They are not what hypocrites would describe them as: mean, terrorist, whatever. In fact, all of my Muslim friends don't agree to the acts of ISIS. I don't think it's fair in any way that just because a tiny little minority of the population does something terrible, you assume the entire population is like that. That's just downright mean. Just about the whole world is downright saddened by the Paris attacks. But that doesn't give you the authority to blame the entire population of these kind people.
Then there are the people who think the whole black population is to be looked down on. So what if they are "coloured"? Are they not human? And fun fact, if you hate on people with different skin colour as you, you're hating on them for the levels of their skin tan.
I understand that there have been various cases of shooting (particularly in the US) by black people. But so what? It's the same thing with the Muslim issue.
And top of all that, who said that terrorism is only limited to Muslims and blacks? There have also been countless cases of white people shooting. But strangely, when these people do it, they are considered to be nuts BUT NOBODY BLAMES THE ENTIRE WHITE POPULATION. Why?
And in fact, outside of the US, there are many more terrorists groups apart from Muslims. We have the ever famous Aum Shinrikyo (now known as Aleph) from Japan, as well as the IRA that most social studies students would have heard of unless you were sleeping in class and you never studied at all. We also have the Naxalties and LTTE from India, and one of the most popular one the USA has ever had, the Ku Klux Klan (or KKK). The list goes on and on.
See, who said terrorists were only Muslims and blacks?

BE VIGILANT
If there's one thing I learnt from the attacks, it's to be more vigilant. Did anybody see this coming? No. And it's only now that my twitter feed started to be flooded with posts like "Be vigilant" and "Please report any suspicious things you see and stay safe".
Vigilance should have been exercised at anytime, anywhere. Not only when there are major attacks. Haven't the police been reminding us time and again to report all suspicious things we notice? Why only emphasise on this now?

THE IGNORED ATTACKS
In case you're ignorant and all, while the Paris attacks have been the focus of recent attacks, the media has clearly overlooked other attacks in the rest of the world, such as the attack of ISIS on Lebanon, Palestine and so on. Fellow humans, these attacks have been happening for a while, not just recently. It's time to wake up and see what is really happening out there.

It is extremely unfortunate that all these have happened in our world, and the only thing we can do now is to work together regardless of race, religion and colour to combat terrorism.
