Aw man. Just read YS' blog post on her grandma's sleep paralysis experience. Quite a cool horror story though. :X
But when I saw the one that she experienced herself, I didn't really dare to read it. And I have no idea why... ><
But anyway, I really shouldn't think too much. I haven't been sleeping well lately, partly because of my stupid flu. The other part of the reason is somehow unknown.
Anyway I think I should just go and rest now and stop blogging. Feeling real horrible now :(
TTFN.
On a side note, do take care of your health ya! The flu season is here D:

Today 2 friends of mine shared a story with the school.
I found their story really amusing but really awesome, so I thought I might just share it with you guys~
This rather short story was given quite an applause when it ended. But then, exactly how many people are clapping because they truly understand the effects of racial discrimination? I'm not aiming this at anyone, but it's just that there are too many people who are getting ridiculed every day due to their races or country of origin. And when they do, no one actually bothers to stand up to defend them.
What if one day, the person you ridiculed, ridiculed you back?
Take the case of our table tennis players as an example. During the olympics, they brought much glory back to the country. Yet, there are just countless brainless people out there who are discriminating them. Especially the ones who are chinese.
I mean. Yea I do know that Feng Tianwei and co. are from China. They don't know how to sing our national anthem. But so what? I don't think you sing Majulah Singapura every single day. Don't say you do, because you are just lying through your teeth. Stay true to your heart, man..
Plus, if you're Chinese, and you're discriminating them, aren't you just discriminating your own ancestors too.. Orh horh. So technically you just ridiculed your own ancestors. KARMA WILL GET YOU.
Ok but anyway I do sincerely hope that the story taught everyone something special, and that is to live without discriminating another person's race or religion. Hope you guys enjoyed the story :)
TTFN~
There was this once whereby a Caucasian lady (also known as a white or an angmoh in Singapore) who boarded a plane. Upon boarding it, she found herself seated beside an African-American man. She was utterly disgusted and called for the steward. Why yes, she WAS disgusted only because she was seated beside what most people call a "black". But no, that's just the start.
The steward attended to the woman and the problem was made known to him clearly and demanded for a change in her seat. Many passengers on board, including the African-American, started to glare at her.Hmm.
The steward then told her that on that day, the plane happened to be pretty packed and there might not be any more seats available in the economy class. However, he mentioned that he will talk to the plane captain to discuss about the matter.Sounds slightly ridiculous, eh? But just wait and see... :)
A short while later, the steward returned to the lady. He said, 'I'm very sorry, miss, but there are no more seats left in the economy class. However, there is a seat left in the first class cabin. This change is really extraordinary, but the captain mentioned that this matter is absolutely ridiculous and cannot be tolerated.' At that very moment, the lady gave a smirk and started showing her proud face around the cabin.Oh no. Chillax there, reader. There's still the most exciting part ;D
The steward simply ignored the lady's smirking about. Just as the lady was about to speak something, the steward turned to the African-American man and smiled. He said, 'Now sir, would you please pack your things?'Awesome isn't it? :) At the end, the man was given a standing ovation by the passengers in that cabin. As for the woman... She can go on to continue getting shamed openly :)

I'm sorry but I got bored so.
Let me share a song with the original and the covered version.
So here's the first..
So here's the first..
Then the second~
Honestly, I can't decide which is better cos I love both Jayesslee and Taylor Swift. But when I first compared the two, I thought Jayesslee's version was better only because it was played and sang at a (few) note(s) lower. And since I can't really sing in a high voice (I got put into Alto when I joined choir in primary school), I would, naturally, be attracted to the lower one.
But as time went by, I seemed to find that both had their good sides.
Ok but anyway Sonia and Janice's voices are really good, and so is Taylor's.
Another (hit) video I'd like to share is this....
One thing really cool about this song is that it sounded pretty annoying at first, but as time goes, it gets real catchy. And before you know it, you're... Addicted. :)
For some reason, I find The Ting Ting's 'That's Not My Name' pretty annoying and I don't know why. Ok maybe it just doesn't suit my taste.
But honestly, I don't seem to be the only one finding that song irritating. The other day in lecture, Ms H played the songs that we knew only halfway through, yet for that particular song she played the whole thing. Lala, who was sitting beside me, was begging along with me for her to stop the song.
However, that song's influence on the female students seems to be great. Many girl's Twitter name have become things like 'Theycallme____'. Ok, anything. LOL
TTFN, and goodnight :)
My junior's blog post.
Ok so basically, one of my juniors wrote a post about her granny's tale about experiencing something rather similar to paralysis.
About the post, I haven't gained enough courage to read the whole thing (all I managed was to skimp through the first sentence). But then, many other wushu students who read her blog had been mentioning it on Twitter ever since yesterday.
Ya so I was just rather clueless about what she wrote when I saw the tweets. But I could see that it was freaky, because apparently RY was urging FY not to read it (maybe it's really that scary after all so maybe I shouldn't try to read any of it because it's night already and I need a good rest from the insomnia yesterday).
Since I didn't have a single idea about what was going on, I decided to ask Lala since she seemed to be rather knowledgeable on the topic.
.... Ok maybe I shouldn't say anything here.
But anyway, what Lala told me did indeed sound pretty freaky (just basically adds on to my insomnia. Sighs). D: I really do hope I can sleep well tonight.. Ok well maybe I can since I've been on the computer for quite a while which just makes my brain sleepy making me drift off to sleep even better.
That's just actually... Nonsensical rubbish ._.
But anyways, if you really are interested in the post and you have the courage and guts to do so, you may read her post at silver-cobwebs.blogspot.sg .
Have fun! :B

Suicide awareness day 2012.
Today marks the day of Suicide Awareness Day 2012.
What's that, you ask?
As the name suggests, spread the awareness of suicide. (Basically, it's just asking you not to kill yourself. You dig?)
All you're supposed to do today is...
Either write 'love' on your wrist or wear something yellow on it. Show your support to anyone who has or is having thoughts of suicide, attempted (but failed) and succeeded (which just means that that person is dead) in taking their own life. Simple, innit? :)
TTFN. Have a good day! :D

Someone help me (especially Singaporeans)!
(Ok this post is gonna be quite short ya.)
Anyone knows where in Singapore I can find good cupcakes? Other than Swirls and Twelve cupcakes though.
And another thing... The shops have to be relatively easy to get there! :P
Leave your comments in the Cbox... THANKS!!

Many have been asking why I'm so sad recently.
For that question, I have quite a lot answers, but there's this particular one that has been bothering me for 2 weeks STRAIGHT.
Before that, let me ask a question to the people who have seen me before. Do I really look like a person who's so free that I will go around stealing other's boyfriend?
Whatever your answer is, keep it to yourself.
So here's the thing...
On this particular PE lesson (towards the end), a certain person (let's just name her A) started teasing me saying that I have a crush on my (guy) best friend, who, apparently, is attached.
Ok fine. Acceptable. Then I answered with some other rubbish back to her, then she turned away. For your information, I didn't say anything bad, I merely said I don't have a crush on him and that I never will.
THEN, a minute later, when I wanted to talk to her (I called and yelled her name a few million times), she actually didn't respond. Dude. I didn't do anything and I'm getting shunned? Ok... Wow.
This whole crappy thing started merely because of me (probably) siding my bestie too much. But is there a problem with siding someone who is your best friend?
Then at recess I got rather pissed off, which I guessed screwed my whole mood for the day. My bestie (shall just name him B) obviously sensed it, so he messaged me. Hours later, he found out who I was pissed of with. That person is his tablemate (she shall be C), the person who started all the rumours the moment I sided B.
The next day, I decided to rant on Twitter openly. C then messaged me after she saw the tweets, apologising. Well, it didn't do much of help.
Then this was the point whereby B decided to come in as the middleman, which caused even more problems. I know he meant us well, but...
So apparently he let me know what C told him. C thought that I was petty, because she thought that I got pissed when I was teased.
Hello, you're not even standing in my shoes... How would you know a single thing? ._. Here's a face for C:
Then, a face for A and C:
Cool story, like seriously.
THEN I started ranting on Twitter again, and at this point of time C stuck her ass in and started helping she herself and A to clear THEIR names. And they called me unfair.
LOL, not bad. But as I said, if you have no idea what the true inside story is about, shut up.
At one point of time, this matter somehow (must have been B) went to his girlfriend, M. She messaged me to apologise to me for the matter and started blaming herself for that matter (when it wasn't even her fault at all). She also mentioned that she didn't trust such rumours.
This is just funny... Someone I don't really know trusts me so much more than some people I thought trusted me a lot.
So that's just basically the gist. I don't really care... Since I'm petty, bitchy, and unfair to SOME people's eyes. And I doubt I ever want to talk to B again... I shall just stick with the 2 awesome people sitting on my right and left, as well as the one behind me, the one on the right of the one behind me, and the one beside her.
I really learnt a lesson through this.
Before this post comes to an end, let me share a song...

As you grow up, you might think that you are losing more friends, when you actually are finding out who the true ones are. There's obviously more people who aren't in that list of people I will stick to, but in my head, they are. :)
Before this post comes to an end, let me share a song...

WHEE!
Really happy today!
A few hours ago, the news reported that one of our very own para-equestrians...
CLINCHED A MEDAL!
It's our first medal in this year's para games.
The athlete who won is Laurentia Tan, who was born with cerebral palsy (or something like that) as well as a hearing disability.
Despite her hearing disability, she joined the event where music synchronisation is needed, and STILL clinched a medal nevertheless. Laurentia, we're all proud of you! :D
For the next few days and events to come, I think many Singaporeans are looking forward to Yip Pin Xiu's event. Pin Xiu broke the world record for swimming last paralympics, and clinched a gold (obviously). Thus, I guess many of us have put our hopes on her. Good luck, Pin Xiu! ^^
Of course, I must not neglect the other athletes too. So good luck to ALL (Singaporean) paralympians participating this year! :D (Sorry for being a little selfish :P)
